Ok Ok, there will be a comic up tomorrow. Promise.

In other news I think I'm addicted to spinach. I mean it... literally. Addicted. I've been thinking about spinach ravioli all day... and a spinach salad... hold the dressing, just give me the spinach! and a spinach and cheese and avacado sandwich... and all that good stuff. Although I don't like spanakopita. I think its because you make it with frozen spinach.

As you may have worked out by now, I'm a vegetarian. So I'm justified in thinking about vegetables as good food. And all you carnivores out there cringe!

I promise you that there WAS a boss there... but Photoshop crashed and I didn't feel like redrawing him.

Yeah, so this is a new twist on a very old gag.

At least you don't get spam in Korean... now that's weird. The one I got today (and I got two copies of it, mind you) had only one line of English: "This mail is sent only one time." Go figure. But spam can be a useful part of your life too. In fact, while I've been sitting here typing this I just found out how I can Make Up To $10,000 per Month Working From Home. All I have to do is follow the PROVEN FORMULA. "I never imagined that I could make this much money AND have all this free time!" Of course I also got what appears to be an ad for a Korean porn site, complete with animations that... let's just say there were animations. Although there is a glimmer of hope: Paul Graham claims to be able to filter spam pretty effectively with AI.

My apologies for not updating as frequently as I'd have liked. It's been a hectic week here. My grandparents aren't doing well, so my parents have flown to Connecticut to go take care of them, leaving me to take care of a bunch of last-minute stuff for next week's church picnic. Ninety pounds of meat have made it safely to the church freezer... next up: several dozen rolls, two cakes, and two *big* salads.

My boss isn't quite that bad. But he doesn't have much comprehension of how a development process works: you come up with design guidelines, you build it, then you test it, and you fix the bugs. You can't keep making changes ad infinitum... so currently the "open issues" list has reached its 205th entry... By the time this is done I won't ever want to see a copy of Excel 97 (which is riddled with so many bugs of its own) again...

So, comic speaks for itself but I'm going to rant anyway.

Now, I'm totally familiar with SPAM that claims NOT to be Spam, SPAM that offer a quick rich scheme and even SPAM that advertises "Tired of getting unsolicited e-mail?". However, today is the first time I got an e-mail that offeres to tell me HOW TO spam. For a mere $49.99 I can supposedly buy a book that teaches me how to make thousands a week sending unsolicited e-mail (it even calls it unsolicited e-mail) by exploiting legal loopholes. O.o Exactly. Oh well, at least they are honest.

Honest spammers, what IS the world coming to?
